I’m Leigh Blackwell, and I founded LB Training Academy and The London Brow Company out of a deep passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to our planet.
My love for beauty began with my own business in 2009. The joy of building client relationships and boosting their confidence was truly fulfilling. By 2011, my passion led me to establish the Leigh Blackwell Training Academy to share my knowledge and expertise with others.
However, as a busy working mum, I eventually faced burnout. Despite the success and gratitude for my achievements, I needed a break. I sold my business, embarked on a world adventure with my husband, and during our travels, I encountered brow lamination. Intrigued by this innovative treatment, I realized the available products were not aligning with my values of natural, vegan, and cruelty-free standards.
This experience spurred a pivotal change. I wanted to make a positive impact by offering products that were not only effective but also ethical. Thus, The London Brow Company was born. We created our own range of high-quality, plant-based products, crafted right here in the UK. We also established accredited courses in brow lamination to share our expertise.
Today, our training academy has empowered over 4500 beauty therapists worldwide. We’re dedicated to providing personalized attention and support, both during your training and as you embark on your professional journey. Our dual role as both educators and product creators ensures you receive comprehensive support and access to premium, ethical products.

Our Initiatives
Supporting more than just our business is essential to us. Each purchase you make helps fund our initiatives that give back to the community and our planet:
🌳 Tree Planting: We partner with The Eden Project to plant a tree for every order. Your purchase helps repopulate mangroves, reforest habitats in Madagascar for lemurs, and support various global projects.
🐣 Hen Welfare: We donate monthly to the British Hen Welfare Foundation to help rehome battery hens. We also care for six ex-battery hens—Sage, Dotty, Maggie, Betty, Hettie, and Agnes. Their eggs are sold, and proceeds support the foundation.
🐕 Dog Rescue: We contribute monthly to Spanish Stray Dogs to rehome dogs from kill shelters in Spain. We support 'The man that rescues dogs' in thailand aiding injured dogs with walking aids and medical support.
🐮 Livestock Charities: We support various independent UK livestock charities that care for animals in need.
